Couchtisch von Amphora, 1960er
This vermilion red coffee table was produced by Amphora, Belgium. Ceramist Rogier Vandeweghe founded the company together with his wife and ceramic painter Myranna Pyck in the early 1960s. They produced ceramic vases, tiles and tables with strong colors and different types of glazing. Before Amphora, Rogier Vandeweghe ran Perignem together with his brother Laurent. This table dates from the mid-1960s and is an example of the bright color and glazing used.
